ARIZONA DESERT MIDWINTER CONVENTIONAL PISTOL CHAMPIONSHIP
FEBRUARY 12, 13, 14 & 15, 2009
 
LOCATION:           Phoenix Rod & Gun Club Range – South end of 7th Avenue Phoenix, Arizona
 
ELIGIBILITY:        As approved by the National Rifle Association Rule 1.6F, Effective July 2008
 
RULES:                Current NRA rules will govern.
 
ENTRIES:            First relay will be filled before establishing a second relay.  Maximum 80 competitors.
 
ENTRIES CLOSE:    Individual match entries must be received no later than Monday preceding the opening
                    day of the tournament. Team match entries close at 8:00 a.m. the day the team matches
                    are to be fired.

CLASSIFICATIONS:        NRA classifications system will be used.
                        Categories will be established if there are 5 competitors per category.
 
AWARDS:             NRA Award points will be issued in accordance with the Posted Award Schedule.
                        Other Prizes will be given for the combined score of the 900 Service Pistol and 2700
                        match.

        Match No. 2 – National Match Course
        Match No. 3 – 20 shots, timed fire, 25 yards
        Match No. 4 – 20 shots, rapid fire, 25 fire yards
 
    Match No.  6        .22 Caliber Team Championship  (Following conclusion of .22 Individual match)
 
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2009
    CENTER FIRE INDIVIDUAL MATCHES
    Center Fire Pistol, Rule 3.5(b) ------ Commencing at 8:30 a.m.
 
        Match No.   7 – 20 shots, slow fire, 50 yards
        Match No.   8 – National Match Course
        Match No.   9 – 20 shots, timed fire, 25 yards
        Match No. 10 – 20 shots, rapid fire, 25 yards
 
    Match No. 12    Center Fire Team Championship  (Following conclusion of CF Individual match)
    
    Match No. 18    .45 Caliber Team Championship  (Following conclusion of .45 Individual match)
 
    Match No. 19    Team Aggregate Championship   (An aggregate of Matches 6, 12, and 18)
 
    Approximately 1 hour lunch break between Individual and Team Matches
    if there are two relays of Individual.

    Match No. 22    Service Pistol Team Match  (Following conclusion of .45 Individual match)

    CIVILIAN MARKSMANSHIP PROGRAM "LEG" MATCH

        E I C Leg Match, Firing the National Match Course on Sunday, after the Service Pistol Team Match.

        Pistol Requirements: See CMP Rules 6.3.1. Awards are provided by CMP for those qualifying, See rule 7.7.2
