    Greetings, tleddy!

    I have word from Don Plante that the CMP approved our holding an EIC match at the Desert Midwinter this year!

    Apparently, the CMP relaxed their rules requiring EIC matches be held only as part of Regional, State Championship or National events.

    My understanding is a shooter may still only enter 3 EIC matches, PLUS the NTI at Camp Perry in a single year. Additional events are shot "out of competition."

    I didn't answer the Revolver match question in my first reply.

    The NRA still required the DR matches be held with a Regional or State competition. That was a new rule introduced last year, and we had to make a last minute Match Bulletin change to accomodate the rule.

    So YES to the EIC match, and NO to the DR match. If that changes, we'll post a notice here.
